CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – April 12, 2023 - Wayne L. Biggs, Jr., chief executive officer of the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), announces that a Public Hearing for the V.I. Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) will be held at 9AM on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
At the public hearing, VIEDC Board of Directors to hear presentations on the application submitted by Mangrove Eco Boutique Hotel Properties, LLC & Mildred A. Lang Trust u/a/d May 24, 2000 a Joint Venture; along with compliance matters for the following six (6) beneficiaries under the VIEDC economic development tax incentive program:
- 183 Media, LLC,
- Alti-source Asset Management Corporation,
- Real Impact Corporation,
- St. Croix Renaissance Group, LLLP,
- Tree Limin’ Extreme, LLC, and
- Tropico Management, LP.
A Governing Board Decision Meeting for the VIEDC, the VI Economic Development Authority and the Enterprise Zone Commission will also be held following the public hearing.
The VIEDA advises the public that the Board of Directors may go into executive session with respect to any decision at any time during the meetings as provided in 1 V.I.C. § 254.
This meeting will be conducted via Zoom, a software-based platform for video and audio communications. *Registration is required to participate in the Board meeting.
