CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – June 12, 2020 -- The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) and the Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center (VI SBDC) invite small business owners in the U.S. Virgin Islands to participate in a second Small Business Impact Survey.
Information from this survey will help assess how to assist and sustain small businesses during their recovery as they re-open and navigate through the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

The deadline to complete this survey is Wednesday, June 24, 2020.
“As small businesses are ascertaining how to reopen their businesses, the VIEDA and the VI SBDC, want to ensure that these businesses have the necessary resources that can assist them,” said Cusa Holloway, VIEDA Incubator Program Manager. “To do that, we want to hear from these businesses because their responses can truly help us identify what we need to do to help them during this unprecedented time,” added Ms. Holloway.
Ted Gutierrez, VI SBDC State Director, is also looking forward to hearing from these businesses, especially to determine how they can become more resilient.
“This collaboration between the VIEDA and VI SBDC is critical as we come together to assist small businesses across the Territory with collective resources,” said State Director Gutierrez. “VI SBDC’s goal is to provide a strong initiative on sustainability and resilience and with the results of the survey from our small businesses we can execute with laser focus on the true needs of our community,” added Mr. Gutierrez.
