Topic: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) during the Pandemic
So many employees are struggling during the pandemic, whether it’s their own health or their loved ones. Taking time off to recover, to taking care of a loved one or getting vaccinated can become confusing. The ADA and FMLA interplay can also be quite confusing. This presentation will break down the difference between ADA flexible leave policy as a form of reasonable accommodation and FMLA, including the new IRS tax credit that kicked in on April 1, 2021. In addition, there will be information on creative ways to support your staff who might be struggling.
