Webinar: Non-profit & Religious Institutions COVID-19 Assistance

The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) will host a free informational webinar titled, “Nonprofits and Religious Institution COVID-19 Assistance” at 10AM on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.        

 

This webinar will be conducted via Zoom, a software-based platform for video and audio communications. 

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Each individual should register separately for their own confirmation email.

 

This webinar will feature the following representatives and their agencies:

  • Wayne Huddleston, senior area manager, US Small Business Administration - Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico Division
  • Ted Gutierrez, state director, V.I. Small Business Development Center (VI SBDC)
  • Denise Johannes, executive director, Office of the Lt. Governor, Division of Trademarks and Corporations
  • Deanna J. James, president, St. Croix Foundation for Community Development

 

The discussion will highlight:

1.     how to apply for available COVID-19 funding programs as a nonprofit organization and religious organization,

2.     technical assistance that is available from the VI SBDC, and

3.     updates for nonprofit organizations from the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
