Governor Bryan announced during the State of the Territory Address that a 20-year economic vision for the Territory would be developed and called the “U.S. Virgin islands Vision 2040” initiative. He designated the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (USVIEDA) to lead the effort. An RFP has been issued to retain a Vision 2040 consultant and an Evaluation Committee is being appointed to evaluate bids and make a recommendation.
VIPCA was honoured to have been appointed to be a member of the Vision 2040 Request for Proposal (RFP) Evaluation Committee. Oriel Blake spent one day evaluating the various applications on May 28, 2019.
