VIEDA to host free webinar on ADA Accommodations during COVID-19

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U. S. Virgin Islands – February 2, 2021 -- The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (USVIEDA) in partnership with the Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands (DRCVI) and the Northeast ADA will host this week's “Wednesday Webinars” titled, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodations during COVID-19 on Wednesday, February 2, 2021 at 10AM-11AM AST.

This webinar will be conducted via Zoom, a software-based platform for video and audio communications and can also be viewed through Facebook livestream at www.facebook.com/usvieda. Businesses interested in learning effective "virtual" ways to respond to a request for an accommodation, documentation of disability and various ways to provide reasonable accommodations (i.e., telework reassignment or modified work schedule) are invited to attend and gain a wealth of information. During this difficult time, we are striving to help small business implement the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) across the territory.

Register in advance for the webinar at https://startupspace.app/detail-normal-events/15638/2021_02_02/16_00.

Upon registration, individuals will receive an email with details on how to join "USVIEDA Wednesday Webinars".

In addition, an extensive Q&A portion will be available at the end of the presentation for inquiries by participants via Zoom and Facebook LIVE.
