The U.S. Virgin Islands has been selected as the host location for the Business Enterprise Growth and Investment Network’s first annual conference of C-suite executives from over 100 of the nation’s largest and most successful Black-owned enterprises (BOEs) with minimum annual revenue of $10M. This private and by-invitation-only summit is brought to you by SEDI in collaboration with the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority and seeks to improve the competitive posture of BOEs worldwide by providing on-site access to financial capital, industry experts, and lucrative investment deals all under one roof. This year we’ve sought the expertise of the Export Import Bank of the United States to help us implement a blueprint for a national network of mid-sized Black-owned firms that will drive robust growth from the most profitable and efficient trade lanes in the Caribbean. Government officials and agency representatives will be on hand to not only learn about the main barriers to business growth for mid-sized BoEs—including those which prevent them from making the investments required to increase productivity and expand their workforce—but also to help them strengthen their competitiveness to enter new offshore markets. Join us this November for two days amid the lush greenery, pristine beaches, and tropical climate of St. Thomas as we inaugurate this coterie of elite power brokers from virtually every industry, including financial services, technology, transportation, diversified services, etc., to one day stand in parity with such venerable civil rights institutions as the NAACP. Seating is limited so please register today at www.beginconference.org to take advantage of the discounted early-bird ticket rate while availability lasts.
