Governing Board Decision Meetings for the VI Economic Development Commission, Economic Development Bank Set for January 12

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands  –  January 11, 2017  – The  U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (USVIEDA) announces that Governing Board Decision Meetings for the V.I. Economic Development Commission (VIEDC)  will be held beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 via videoconference feed between 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, 2nd Fl., Suite No. 620, St. Thomas, USVI; and the William D. Roebuck Industrial Park at No. 4 Negro Bay, Building No. 2, Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI. 

A meeting on an administrative matter concerning VIEDC beneficiary RPP Advisors, LLC; a decision meeting for the Economic Development Bank and a USVIEDA administrative meeting will also be held at the aforesaid locations. 

The VIEDC Decision Meetings will be held on nine applications regarding tax benefits submitted to the VIEDC by the following businesses:

1.  AAC-Air Ambulance Caribbean, Inc. d/b/a Aero MD (new application)

2.  Carambola Zip Line, LLC (new application)

3.  Denali Asset Management, LLLP (admission of trust)

4.  DASREP, LLC (new application)

5.  Fintrac, Inc.  (modification application)

6.  Organa Brands, LLC (new application)

7.  OSON VI, LLC  (modification/extension application)

8.  Secret Harbour Beach Associates LLLP (reconsideration of application)

9.  Tramway Properties, Inc. (modification/extension application)

and to resolve five compliance matters concerning the following VIEDC beneficiaries:

1. American Management Solutions, LLC

2. CI  USVI, LLC

3. DIAM Management, LLC

4. Hampden Watch Company, Inc.

5. MCS, LLC

All interested persons are notified in accordance with the law.

The USVIEDA Board of Directors may go into executive session with respect to any decision at any time during the meeting(s) in accordance with the law.

Any person, firm or corporation that is interested in the approval or disapproval of the application(s) may appear and be heard provided that a written statement is submitted at least one (1) day prior to the hearing to the Chief Executive Officer of the USVIEDA at No. 116 King St., Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI 00840; or via facsimile to 340-773-7701.
