| “VIEDA To Host Meetings On Performance Bonding Program For Local Construction Contractors” |

Local construction contractors will have an opportunity to have their questions answered and become more informed about the Performance Bonding Program. Meetings on this topic, hosted by the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), will be held on Saturday, March 21 at the Palms Court Harborview Hotel in St. Thomas and on Saturday, March 28 at Gertrude’s Restaurant in St. Croix. Both meetings will take place from 10:00 a.m. – noon.
At these meetings, the Performance Bonding Program will be unveiled as explanations about the requirements for acceptance into the program and general advice on good record keeping will be provided.
Presentations will be made by representatives from the VIEDA and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) together with professionals in the industries of banking and insurance.
Following the presentations, questions and recommendations on how the Performance Bonding Program can assist local licensed construction contractors will be entertained.
