CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – August 10, 2021 — On Thursday, August 12, 2021 beginning at 9AM AST, the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) Board of Directors will meet for a V.I. Economic Development Commission Public Hearing to hear presentations from representatives of two beneficiaries of the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Program: Black Diamond Advisors, LLP, and Black Diamond Holdings, LLLP, on their applications to modify their Certificates of Benefits for tax incentives.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands – July 30, 2021 -- Kelly Thompson Webbe and Monique T. Samuel were recently appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of the Economic Development Bank (EDB), respectively, at the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) in July 2021, according to an announcement from Wayne L. Biggs, Jr., VIEDA chief executive officer.  Both women served previously in interim capacities for their respective positions and began serving in their top spots effective July 16, 2021.

VIEDA Governing Board Decision Meeting to be held on July 22

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – July 14, 2021 — The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) Board of Directors will meet for a Governing Board Decision Meeting for the VI Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) on Thursday, July 22, 2021 beginning at 9AM AST.

At this meeting, the Board of Directors will consider applications and compliance matters submitted to the VIEDC. Meetings for other VIEDA subsidiary entities may also be held. The VIEDC is an entity of the VIEDA.
