The Government Development Bank (GDB) was created to provide financial and technical assistance to industrial and commercial businesses within the Virgin Islands. The GDB provides loans, as well as medium and long-term credit to business entities. In addition, the GDB gives equity infusions to small and medium-sized businesses to help them grow into mainstream commercial banking customers.
